1. Your eApp is now closed. Once you submit your eApp, OSAC considers your application complete. It cannot be reopened, for example, if you discover that you want to apply for another OSAC scholarship, or if you wish to edit your personal statements, Activities Chart, or scholarship essay.
| |
However: If you change your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, choice of college or college major, please contact OSAC immediately by submitting the "Scholarship Application Update Form," which is also available in your e-Student Profile. |
2. Check your eApp Status. Log-in to your e-Student Profile eApp status page with your user name and password to verify whether OSAC accepted your application (eApp).
- If the eApp status message reads, “Pending Review,” OSAC has not reviewed your application yet. Check back again soon!
- OSAC reviews 10,000 eApps, so it is important to check your eApp status page frequently. Once OSAC has reviewed your eApp, you may see the message, “Valid eApp.” Congratulations, this means your application contained no errors and OSAC officially accepted your application.
- If you see the message “Problem eApp,” you must act promptly to correct the problem by the stated deadline in your status message. Failure to do so will eliminate you from competing for scholarships listed in your application. After you submit the correction, you will need to check your eApp status page until you receive the message, “Valid eApp.” Your status page will indicate if the error was not corrected.
3. Additional documents and information. If you applied for a scholarship requiring an additional document or information, please note, that only semi-finalists will be notified in their e-Student Profile on when and how to submit these additional documents or information. It is important that you check your e-Student Profile regularly.
4. Award notification. Beginning in late April through June, check your e-Student Profile for a notification of whether you received a scholarship award.
- You may accept or decline your award online in your e-Student Profile.
- If you do not accept or decline your award online, OSAC will mail a letter to your permanent address listed in your application. This could cause delays in the disbursement of your award so it is better to accept your award online.
8. List of Scholarship awarded. Most scholarships are awarded by late June.
- Awards for The Ford Family Foundation Scholarship Programs and most programs for graduating high school seniors are named by June 1.
- Most scholarship programs for college students are named during the month of June.
- To see a list of scholarships awarded this spring, click on 2010-11 Scholarships Awarded to Date OSAC cannot respond to individual requests naming recipients for scholarship awards.
