The Oregon Student Access Commission ("OSAC") and the State of Oregon
("State") maintain the OSAC (www.osac.state.or.us) OregonStudentAid.gov (www.OregonStudentAid.gov)
websites to enhance Oregonians’ access to financial aid information issued
by the State of Oregon and other participating governmental, and private, entities
in Oregon ("Entities"). This is a service that is continually under
development. OSAC will make every reasonable effort to keep these sites current
and to correct errors brought to the State’s attention. However, financial
aid information and other information on this site may inadvertently include errors
and is continually subject to change. The State encourages users to continually check
this site for updates and changes.
The use of the OSAC and OregonStudentAid websites are at Viewer’s risk. When
using the OSAC and OregonStudentAid websites, information is transmitted over a medium
that is beyond the control or jurisdiction of the State. The State assumes no liability
for or relating to the delay, failure, interruption, or corruption of any data or other
information transmitted in connection with the use of the OSAC and OregonStudentAid
websites. In addition, the State does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness,
timeliness, or effectiveness of the information and services provided herein.
OSAC and OregonStudentAid are provided on an "as is" and "as available
" basis. The State expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind. The State makes
no warranty that: (1) information found on the OSAC or OregonStudentAid website will meet
your requirements; and (2) the OSAC and OregonStudentAid websites will be uninterrupted,
timely, or error-free. Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of
the OSAC or OregonStudentAid website is done at Viewer’s discretion and risk, and
Viewer shall be solely responsible for any damage to his/her/its computer system or loss
of data that results from the download of any such material. No advice or information,
whether written or oral, obtained by Viewer from OSAC shall create any warranty not
expressly stated in the terms and conditions of use.
In no event shall the State or participating entities be liable for any damages
(including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special
damages, lost profits, or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption)
resulting from the use or inability to use the OSAC or OregonStudentAid websites or the
content, information, or services herein, whether based on warranty, contract, tort,
strict liability, or any other legal theory and whether or not the State is advised of
the possibility of such damages.
