Keep your Lender/Servicer Informed

Find your lender/servicer using the National Student Loan Data System's website www.nslds.ed.gov.

It is your responsibility to contact your lender/servicer directly when you make any of the following changes:

• Changes in your name, address, telephone number, and social security number
   
• When you change schools or drop below half-time
   
• Any periods of unemployment or financial difficulty that prevent you from making your loan payments
   
• If you are unable to make a scheduled payment on time
   
• Changes in your school or enrollment status (i.e., withdraw, graduate, or drop to half-time or less than half-time)
